Refund Policy
Plain-English rules for refunds and disputes. Modular Chunks is a digital service — refunds work differently from physical goods.

14-day money-back guarantee
If you're unhappy with your subscription within 14 days of your first paid charge, email refunds@modularchunks.com with your account email and the charge date. First-time refund requests inside the 14-day window are issued automatically— no questions, no forms. You'll see the credit on your card statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
After 14 days
- Subscription cancellation— you can cancel any time from Account → Billing. You won't be charged again. Your account stays active until the end of the current billing period.
- Pro-rated refunds— we don't pro-rate refunds for unused days in the current period. The exception is the 14-day window above.
- Annual plans— within the first 14 days, full refund. After that, the unused months are not refundable but you can cancel auto-renewal so you're not charged again.
Token overage charges
Overage charges (token usage above your monthly allowance) are not refundable after they appear on your invoice — those tokens have been generated and the underlying AI cost has been incurred. Set a hard limit in Account → Billing if you want to cap your spend.
Exceptional cases — always refundable
- You were charged after cancellation due to a billing error.
- The platform was unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours during your billing period.
- Your account was charged due to fraud (someone else used your card).
How to request a refund
Email refunds@modularchunks.com with your account email and the charge date. First-time requests inside the 14-day window are processed automatically. After the 14-day window we review case-by-case and aim to respond within 2 business days. The actual reversal on your card statement typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
Please reach out to support before issuing a chargeback. We can almost always refund faster than the chargeback process. Repeated chargebacks without prior contact may result in account suspension.
